About Me
Artist's Statement:
Yes, that's me in the photo. My Parents were very wise, in that when they wanted some quiet time, they would set up my easel or chalkboard and could then be assured HOURS of peace!
My first official "job" was when I was about four years old. I was given the task of decorating the cardboard boxes we took to the end of the driveway on garbage day. The men working so hard were hopefully cheered by my various cat portraits and smiley faces painted on the boxes in bright yellow paint.
It's still that simple, after so many years. I want people seeing my paintings to have a reason to pause and smile.
